The cast of The CW’s Supergirl is continuing to change during season 4. Following the announcement that Jeremy Jordan would be stepping down as a series regular a new recurring character has been added to the show.
Star Trek: The Next Generation and Independence Day star Brent Spiner is joining the show in a recurring role.
He’ll be playing the “adept and politically minded” Vice President Baker, described as an unlikely leader who “steps up in a big way when his country needs him most.”
Spiner joins the previously announced Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty, Nicole Maines as TV’s first transgender superhero Dreamer, April Parker Jones as Colonel Haley, David Ajala as Manchester Black and the recently announced Rhona Mitra as Mercy Graves and Robert Baker as Mercy’s enforcer Otis.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist, David Harewood, Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh and Jeremy Jordan. The series airs on The CW in North America and here on Sky One.
