A new rumour from Omega Underground contains some interesting information about the future of the Alien franchise.
Following the underwhelming reception to both Prometheus and Alien: Covenant it seems the franchise is going back-to-basics.
According to the site, Fox is considering a TV show which could run in parallel to the six Alien movies. The company is yet to decide whether this series would air on the FOX network and be sold to premium streaming services.
Whilst the series is only in early development stages it is suggested the focus would be on a group of colonial marines or colonists of the doomed LV-426 planet.
