Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is continuing to dominate the worldwide box office.
Despite not releasing in North America until Friday the film is already nearing the $400m mark at the box office.
Following a hugely successful $151m opening in several markets the film has most recently opened in China. In it’s first weekend the fifth film in the Jurassic Park franchise took a huge $112m making it the second-best opening of 2018, behind Avengers: Infinity War, and it is currently the fourth-best opening of all-time in the Middle Kingdom for a U.S. release, behind Universal’s Fate of the Furious, Avengers: Infinity War, and Paramount’s Transformers: The Last Knight.
Currently the films global total is around $370m.
It opens in the US on Friday with predictions ranging from $140m up to $170m.

Pratt and Howard are joined by co-stars James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.
Directed by J.A. Bayona (The Impossible), the epic action-adventure is written by Jurassic World’s director, Trevorrow, and its co-writer, Derek Connolly. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Spielberg and Trevorrow in leading the team of filmmakers for this stunning installment. Belén Atienza joins the team as a producer.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits UK cinemas on June 6 and June 22 in the US.
