The second season of Marvel’s Luke Cage is coming to Netflix in June 2018. That series will mark the latest appearance of nurse Claire Temple played by Rosario Dawson.
Claire first appeared back in 2015 in the first season of Daredevil. Since then the character has gone on to make appearances in every Marvel/Netflix series.
But with Luke Cage season 2 it appears that Dawson may have come to the end of her time with the company. Speaking with fans at MCM Comic Con in London the actress discussed that her responsibilities as a parent may mean her departure is sooner than we thing:
“My daughter is in high school, so I kind of want to not be 3000 miles away for work,”
Elaborating more the actress said:
“Yeah, its pretty wild actually. I don’t know if I’ll be back after this, to be honest, but it’s been an amazing few years, I’ve been on a lot of different shows. I mean, I don’t know if maybe they do a third season of Luke Cage potentially, or maybe if they figure out some kind of way for me to be on The Punisher – just so I can feel like I’ve done every show.”
