Patty Jenkins recently declared that WonderWoman 2 will enter production “shockingly soon”. The film will feature Cheetah as one of its villains and will be set in the 80s. Beyond this we know very little about Gal Gadot’s fourth outing as Diana Prince.
We can now confirm one further detail via Omega Underground. Oscar nominated production designer Aline Bonetto will return for the sequel. Bonetto was instrumental in designing the look of the first film alongside Jenkins.
Bonetto was nominated for two Oscars for production design for Amélie and A Very Long Engagement.
Wonder Woman 2 is due to hit cinemas on November 1, 2019.
