More news has surfaced on the Birds of Prey movie following the announcement that Cathy Yan is frontrunner to direct.
Once again it is journalist Justin Kroll who has been doing some digging and has been unable to unearth the info. It appears that the studio is currently running with two versions of the script. Whilst is is unclear if both these scripts are by Christina Hodson there are two constants. Both Batgirl and Harley Quinn are the only characters to appear in both versions.
Couple of BIRDS OF PREY tidbits I've learned since the Cathy has come on as director. There are two versions of script, only constant is Harley and Barbara Gordon in both. remaining characters different in both scripts.

That means we could see varying configurations on the lineup for the film. Could it be Batgirl, Harley and Catwoman? Maybe Batgirl, Harley and Black Canary?
Perhaps more interestingly Kroll has learned that Suicide Squad 2 could film directly after Birds of Prey. We heard over the weekend the sequel had been delayed to allow production on this film to slot in ahead of it.
