We’re not ones to report every single response to a test screening that hits the web. It’s the latest trend in making or breaking comic book movies. However this is one report which piqued our interest.
Last week rumours hit the web that Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and the crew of Ant-Man and The Wasp were heading back for additional photography on the film. Than in itself is not unusual. Most movies have some additional photography that takes place during the editing stage.
Interestingly those rumours pointed to the crew heading back to shoot a new opening for the film.
Now a new rumour reported by Screen Geek points to test audience reactions triggering this new filming. According to the site test audiences reacted poorly to the films opening scene. This scene was reportedly an action sequence which took place in South America.
There is absolutely no reason to take this as a cause for concern. All we can take from this story is that Marvel Studios is doing its best to make Ant-Man and The Wasp the best film it can be.
