It was only a couple of days ago we brought you casting rumours for Wonder Woman 2. Reports over the weekend pointed to Emma Stone passing on the role of villainous Cheetah in the DC Films sequel.
Now a report from Deadline has broken the news that Ghostbusters actress Kristen Wiig has now entered talks for the role. The trade confirms that Stone has officially passed on the role. Upon that passing director Patty Jenkins is said to have personally chosen Wiig to be approached for the role.
Talks are in early stages and it could be some time before an official announcement is made.
Wonder Woman 2 is due to hit cinemas in November 2019.
