‘Marvel’s Runaways’ renewed for second season by Hulu

Ahead of tonights season 1 finale Marvel’s Runaways has officially been renewed for a 13-episode second season. The news was released via a statement on Marvel.com.

“We’re thrilled about Runaways Season 2. Our partnership with Josh [Schwartz] and Stephanie [Savage] and Hulu has been as exciting as the reaction to the show from our fans — both new and old!” – Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel TV

The series has proved to be a strong hit with fans. Internet chatter has show that Schwartz and Savage have provided a faithful adaption of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona’s comic of the same name.

Marvel’s Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Brittany Ishibashi, James Yaegashi, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, James Marsters and Ever Carradine.

The series is available to stream via Hulu in the US.
