Is the remake of ‘The Crow’ about to start production?

After years in production hell it appears the remake of The Crow may finally be about to enter production. Justice League star Jason Momoa took to Instagram with a cryptic image of Erik Draven’s makeup as The Crow tagging the remakes director Corin Hardy.
The original The Crow was released back in 1994 and followed up with several critically panned direct-to-video sequels. The remake has been rumoured for some time with financial difficulties and studio bankruptcy continually delaying production.
Relativity Media had been masterminding the film which has now landed at Sony Pictures. Momoa will star as Erik Draven originally played by Brandon Lee who was tragically killed during an accident on set.
No release date has been announced for the new film. Edward R. Pressman, who produced the original film, will produce the remake alongside Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films, Highland Film Group and Electric Shadow.
