Whilst fans anticipate Avengers: Infinity War which finally hits cinemas next May we have to remember there’s another Marvel movie to come first. Black Panther arrived in February and is shaping up to be a truly original entry to the MCU.
Marvel has released a series of new character posters featuring the main cast. You can check them out in the gallery below!
So far we’ve seen a teaser and full trailer for the film but very little has been given away outside of the synopsis:
After the events of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.
Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay co-written with Joe Robert Cole. Chadwick Boseman reprises his role as T’Challa/Black Panther and is joined in the film by Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Any Serkis and Forest Whitaker.
The Marvel Studios/Disney film is due for release February 6, 2018.
