Here’s a pleasant surprise for you Bat-fans! 1993’s critically acclaimed Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is coming to blu-ray. In a short announcement of Twitter Warner Archive announced that a fully remastered version for the cult hit will be coming to disc sometime in July.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was written by Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, Martin Pasko and Michael Reaves and directed by Bruce Timm. The film brought together the legendary cast of Batman: The Animated Series featuring Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Dana Delaney and even featured Arleen Sorkin in a small role as Ms. Bambi.
