Earlier this week the first cast photo for ‘Alien: Covenant’ was released via the films official Twitter account. 20th Century Fox also took the opportunity to announce that a promo for the film was due this week. That promo took the form of a video shown during this weeks episode of ‘Legion’ on FX.
Fans expected the first teaser for the film or a short sizzle reel. However that was not the case. The promo is in fact a four and a half minute prologue film!
‘The Last Supper’ serves to introduce viewers to the main cast of ‘Alien: Covenant’. We get to meet the crew of the ship Covenant and finally have confirmation of James Franco’s role in the film. He will be playing the Covenant’s captain, named Branson.
Sadly however there are no Xenomorphs involved but it’s still a great way to acclimatise fans to the world of ‘Alien: Covenant’. Checkout the film in the player below.
