
Great news for DCTV fans! Over the weekend The CW announced that it was renewing several of its returning shows of 2016.
In addition to network staple ‘Supernatural’ which will return for a thirteenth season later this year the also handed out early renewals for ‘Crazy Ex Girlfriend’ and ‘Jane the Virgin’.
For DCTV fans there was also some great news. ‘Arrow’ will live beyond it’s planned five seasons by officially moving forward with a sixth season. Star Stephen Amell took to Facebook to thank fans for the news:
“We are so lucky. Six seasons… Six!! I’d like to thank WB, the CW, our unmatched Crew, the cast, the producers and most of all, the fans. We are still here because of you. We have a chance to get to 200 episodes, because of you. I have the job of my dreams, because of you. Thank you. A thousand times… thank you.”
Network freshman ‘Supergirl’ will also be returning for a third season, its second on The CW. ‘The Flash’ will charge forward with its own fourth season and ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ will enter its third season.
Missing from the announcement was ‘iZombie’. Soon to premiere its third season the shows fate remains in limbo for the time being.
