News has broken via Deadline.com that ‘Watchmen’ star Partrick Wilson has been cast as Orm in the upcoming ‘Aquaman’ film!
Directed by James Wan the film stars ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Justice League’ star Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Herd as Mera and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.
Orm is best known in the comics as the villainous half-brother to Aquaman. He is also known as Ocean Master. The character recently appeared in animated form in the direct-to-video animated film ‘Justice League: Throne of Atlantis’.
Little is known about the size of the role he will play in the film with many rumours pointing to Black Manta as the films lead villain. Regardless it seems Orm will be antagonising his half brother when the film hits cinemas on October 5th, 2018.
