The first-look featurette for DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animations upcoming ‘Justice League Dark’ has surfaced online. As soon as one of the DTV film gets released somewhere in the world the first-look featurette at the next film tends to appear. This time that featurette is for ‘Justice League Dark’.
Taking a break from the usual chain of mainstream ‘Justice League’ and ‘Batman’ or ‘Superman’ films DC Comics are instead finally beginning to explore the supernatural and magical side to their universe.
The most exciting news to come from the preview? The return of Matt Ryan as John Constantine! Having played the role in his own TV series and returning for a guest spot as the character in ‘Arrow’ season 4 he is now taking on the first animated version of the character.
Starring alongside Constantine are Madame Xanadu, Deadman, Shade, the Changing Man and Zatanna. The voice cast includes Camilla Luddington, Nick Turturro, Ray Chase and Jason O’Mara returning as Batman.
Justice League members Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are also due to make appearances.
