
It can’t have been an easy job for Marvel Studios at SDCC this year. Their Hall H panel followed on from Warner Bros. internet breaking DC Films panel. But they didn’t back down from a fight!
Bringing a huge number of casting announcements including confirming Brie Larson as Captain Marvel the company also unveiled a second trailer for ‘Doctor Strange’.
Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange’ follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
‘Doctor Strange’ stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular character along with Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One and Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, Amy Landecker, and Mads Mikkelsen.
