Hot off the announcement that their new ‘Supergirl’ series would premier in the Monday 8pm slot, up against the second season of ‘Gotham’ on Fox, CBS has unveiled a 6min long teaser for the pilot which features all the main cast as well as some Kryptonian action and a guest spot from none other than Superman himself.
The show looks promising with some great special effects but there’s no doubting that the tone of this show is far removed from that of ‘Arrow’ and even from that of ‘The Flash’ which is clearly the influence of ‘No Ordinary Family’ alum Ari Adler.
The pilot episode of ‘Supergirl’ is written by Ali Adler (‘No Ordinary Family’) and Greg Berlanti (‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash’). Both serve as executive producers alongside Sarah Schechter and Warner Bros. TV.
