Marvel recently announced that the legendary film director J.J. Abrams and his son will be helming a new Spider-Man comic series.
The series will pit Spidey against a brand new villain and you can read all the details at the link above. But now the publisher has released three pages of artwork by Sara Pichelli from the series’ first issue.
The work has yet to be coloured but we already have a great idea about just how cool the series will look when it drops its first issue in September 2019.
Here’s the official description from Marvel: “The most shocking and incredible comic of 2019 is here as J.J. ABRAMS (STAR WARS, STAR TREK, SUPER 8) and his son HENRY ABRAMS are joined by superstar artist SARA PICHELLI (MILES MORALES, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY) team up for SPIDER-MAN! What do they have planned for Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson?! Who is Cadaverous?! The Modern Master of Mystery Makes His Marvel this September!?”
Spider-Man arrives in comic book stores on September 18, 2019.
