Spooky season has officially arrived with today’s release of three iconic Resident Evil™ games on Nintendo Switch™ 2, including Resident Evil™ 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil™ 3, and Resident Evil™ 4 Gold Edition! Experience Raccoon City and the entire Resident Evil universe through the eyes of the legendary Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, and more.
With the introduction of these three remakes, all mainline Resident Evil titles, including the recently released Resident Evil™ Requiem and the upcoming Resident Evil™ Veronica, will be able to be experienced on Nintendo Switch 2!

- Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition: An unprecedented biological disaster that strikes Raccoon City drags rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, a college student who has come to town to visit her brother, into a tragedy unlike any they’ve ever faced. Amid this extreme situation where the living dead devour humans, will the two of them manage to survive?
- Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City lies in ruins following the aforementioned unprecedented biological disaster. In addition to the Separate Ways DLC – another mission woven into the background of the main story – the game also includes a wealth of additional downloadable content.
While these three remakes faithfully preserve the essence of the original games, each title has been reimagined with fresh ideas and modernized gameplay via Capcom’s RE ENGINE. Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition also include an abundance of additional content from the original versions.
