Directed by David Slade (Hard Candy, Black Mirror) and produced by Evil Dead legend Robert Tapert, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT (based on Steve Niles’ bestselling comic book series) follows a group of marauding, bloodthirsty vampires who descend on the small town of Barrow, Alaska. As a remote town plunged into complete darkness for 30 days every winter, Barrow becomes the perfect hunting ground.
As the merciless predators commence their month-long feast, it is up to Sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), his estranged wife, Stella (Melissa George), and an ever-shrinking group of survivors to do everything they can to last until daylight.
