The Mystery Machine is fully-loaded. Netflix has officially announced the live action cast who will be taking on Fred, Velma, Shaggy and Daphne in their upcoming live-action Scooby Doo series.
First reported on Tudum, we now have the names on who will be taking on the iconic roles for Netflix’s upcoming mystery-solving team!

Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones
Previously appearing in the 2018 reboot of Lost in Space as well as Dear Edward, Maxwell will be taking on the leader of the team with his signature orange ascot and brave ‘can do’ attitude to solving mysteries.

McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake
Having an already highly decorated acting career, McKenna has faced her fair share of supernatural entities in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Frozen Empire as well as Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and even Scream 7.
She also voiced Daphne Blake in the 2020 animated Scooby Doo film Scoob!

Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers
A few minor roles in short films, this appears to be his big time to shine as the one half of the heart and soul of the Mystery Machine, Shaggy ‘Orville’ Rogers!
Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley
Popping up in the MCU as the original Cassie Lang, daughter of Scott Lang. She has made a handful of movies including A Dog’s Journey and Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret as well as a few small roles in various TV Shows.
She will be the brains of the Mystery Machine, Velma Dinkley!
The series will work as a new origin for the legendary team as old friends Shaggy and Daphne team up with scientific townie Velma and the new kid Freddy as they try to solve a supernatural murder witnessed by a Great Dane Puppy. Though the deeper into the mystery they go, the more exposed to the creepy nightmare they are which threatens to expose all of their secrets.
Scooby-Doo has been a long running franchise for well over 50 years and will continute to delight generation after generation. The series is being executive produced by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg, as well as Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman (via Berlanti Productions), André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Adrienne Erickson (via Midnight Radio). Toby Haynes will also serve as an executive producer and direct the premiere episode.
Current there is no confirmed release date for when the Netflix Scooby Doo series will release.
