Lionsgate has given us the first look at the cast of GHOSTS: The Possession of Button House, the movie adaption of the critically-acclaimed series, due for release in October 2026.
While the plot to the film is still kept under wraps, it follows on from the BBC Series GHOSTS which came out between 2019 until 2023. It follows a group of ghosts form various time periods haunting a country house while having to share it with the new occupants, Allison Cooper and her husband Mike. After the ghosts tried to murder Allison, she ends up being able to see and hear the ghosts.

The show was such a success it spanned both a US and Australian remake both of which are still ongoing to this day.

Written by Matthew Bayton, Simon Farnaby, Martha How-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willibond, the film will release in UK Cinemas on the 23rd October 2026.
