Just when you thought DC Universe series Stargirl couldn’t add any more cast members… The series has been rapidly growing its cast ahead of a Spring start for production.
Now two more actors have been announced to join the huge ensemble including the villain of the piece.
Meg DeLacy, best known for The Fosters, will be joining as Cindy Burman, yet another villain in the cast. Batman-News.com describes her character as:
Cindy Burman is Blue Valley High’s most popular student… and its most feared. Secretly the daughter of Dragon King (played by Nelson Lee), a longtime enemy of the Justice Society of America, Cindy is determined to follow in her father’s footsteps.
Next up is Jake Austin Walker (Fear the Walking Dead) who joins the cast in an unknown role.
The show stars Brec Bassinger in the title role. Luke Wilson is playing S.T.R.I.P.E., alongside Joel McHale (Starman), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman), Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), and Brian Stapf (Wildcat). Neil Hopkins (Sportsmaster), Joy Osmanski (Tigress), and Nelson Lee (Dragon King) will portray members of the Injustice Society.
Stargirl is expected to start production soon for an August 2019 premiere on the streaming service. DC Universe is available now in North America.
