Having settled in at their new home of Netflix the series writers and production team have revealed the title of the fourth seasons opening episode. The ever popular @LuciferWritersRoom on twitter has shown off the front page of the first episodes script emblazoned with the title “Everything’s Okay”. Could that be a sly nod to the cancelled by Fox and subsequent Netflix saviour? A report in yesterdays New York Times is claiming that Jon Favreau’s upcoming live action Star Wars TV series may cost as much as $10M per episode to produce. Disney has reportedly commissioned 10 episodes for the first season taking the potential cost up to around $100M. Given the potential for success using the Star Wars name it’s no surprise that the studio wants to lavish a huge budget on the series in order to acquire the kind of special effects required to succeed. Deadline has broken some exciting news for DC Films fans: it appears that Supergirl is headed back to the big screen! Last seen in cinemas played by Helen Slater in 1984. That film did not prove to be the success that Warner Bros. was hoping for. Instead the character has found huge success on The CW in the TV series of the same name played by Melissa Benoist. It looks like the movie formerly known as Flashpoint is finally entering production! The long gestating The Flash movie has quietly been confirmed to begin filming in February 2019. With John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein behind the camera the film is reportedly going to begin filming in Atlanta. The film features a script from Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) who has been working on a draft for some time now. Netflix has released the first trailer for sci-fi series Maniac. The series stars Emma Stone and Jonah Hill and comes from the mind of Cary Joji Fukunaga (True Detective). The latest comments from Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista have begun to cast doubt on the future of the franchise.
