Hot on the heels of the diner scene released earlier today Sony Pictures has released a second clip from upcoming horror movie Brightburn. Though a little less graphic than the previous scene this one still featuring some creepy action which heavily subverts the superhero genre. After plenty of cryptic teasers, HBO has finally lifted the lid on its upcoming Watchmen TV series. Overnight the network has released the first full teaser trailer which features plenty of new footage and teases for the show which is due to hit screens later in the year. It appears this new adaption is set years after the original graphic novel with a much older Ozymandias prominently featured. Sony Pictures is gearing up for the release of Brightburn in North America on May 24. The studio has released this new, extended clip which expands on a scene shown in both of the movies trailers. Set in a diner we get to see the movies antagonist Brandon Breyer (Jackson A. Dunn) using his powers for anything other than the good of mankind. Marvel Studios has announced that Captain Marvel will hit digital platforms and Movies Anywhere in North America on May 28, before hitting Blu-ray and DVD on June 11. A new rumour from MCU Cosmic has shed some light on Marvel’s plans for Phase 4 of its cinematic universe. Whilst no official announcements have been made it seems the studio is looking to the stars once again and planning a solo-movie featuring Nova. Genre fans will know Jared Harris for a number of reasons. Here in the GYCO office he is fondly remembered as David Robert Jones in the excellent FOX/Warner Bros. series Fringe. Back when the DC Animated Universe was still a fledgling entity their home video releases would often feature animated shorts. Now, a number of years after we last saw one of these releases it’s been confirmed they are being revived. DC, in partnership with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, are producing five new DC Showcase animated shorts highlighting characters from the wider DC Universe. The shorts to be released in 2019-2020 are Sgt.
