During last night’s DC Universe HQ launch at New York Comic Con the streaming platform announced a couple of exciting new developments for 2020. First up is the new DCYou Unscripted initiative. The new contest allows fans to submit pitches for new unscripted series for the service, with successful applicants being invited to Los Angeles to develop their pitches before one final in-person pitch to DC executives before a winner is chosen. DC Comics kicked off its NYCC yesterday with a special reveal which is perfect for Funko fans. Today is the day that plenty of comic book fans have been waiting for. Warner Bros. releases Todd Phillips Joker in both the UK and US from today.
