Costume designer Jacqueline Durran is perhaps best known for her work on the excellent 1917 or 2019’s adaptation of Little Women. But it is her current project which has fans and journalists asking questions. eOne’s (and Universal outside the UK) 1917 was the big winner at Sunday’s BAFTA awards ceremony here in London. The film took home seven of the nine prizes it was nominated for including the top honour of Best Film. 1917 was also handed awards for Best British Film, Best Director for Sam Mendes, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.
