Venom 2 is currently deep in production with lead actor Tom Hardy recently sharing some (deleted) shots from the set. But now a new rumour could setup a potential Venom vs. Spider-Man film for the future. GWW is reporting that Spider-Man: Far From Home and Avengers: Infinity War star Tom Holland is in talks to cameo in the upcoming sequel which is being directed by Andy Serkis. Deadpool last hit out screens in 2018 when Deadpool 2 tore up the fourth wall and brought a live-action Cable to our screens. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has held on to the top spot at the North America for a second weekend. Taking an estimated $72m, the Disney/Lucasfilm release fell by approximately -59% from it’s huge $177m opening weekend. Despite a stellar Christmas Day performance of $32.1m the film has begun to slow down in the post-holiday slump. Performance year-on-year in North America was down by just under -5% on 2018.
