 Avengers: Infinity War was undoubtedly going to be a box office juggernaut. Following a $630m opening weekend the film has continued to rake in the cash. Yesterday it crossed $300m at the North American box office. That tally following a record breaking Monday which shattered records for the highest Monday box office in April. Analysts are predicting a drop of around 51% for its second weekend. Should that come to pass Avengers: Infinity War will bring in another $100-$125m. Yesterday Marvel Studios dropped the latest trailer for Ant-Man And The Wasp. Following that we got this new poster for the movie which spotlights its cast. Most significantly we get our first look at Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne. Back in February we brought you the news that Power Rangers toys would be moving from Bandai to Hasbro. At the same time it was announced the franchise had extended its deal to broadcast new episodes via Nickelodeon. Now we have more news on what has been going on behind the scenes as Saban Brands. Warner Bros. has dropped another trailer for Teen Titans Go! To The Movies. Whilst we remain a little in the dark on the exact plot of the film we have learned that it will have a wicked sense of humour. Where posters and teasers have poked fun at the DC Films universe this trailer goes one step further. No superhero franchise is safe from ridicule here. Batman the Animated Series and Deadpool are just two of the victims of the jokes here. It’s been an amazing weekend for Marvel Studios and Disney. Avengers: Infinity War has exceeded all box office estimates to become the highest grossing opening weekend of all time both in North America and worldwide! In it’s opening domestic frame the latest Marvel outing was forecast to make anywhere from $230-$250m. It’s been able to reach that upper limit as Disney today announced that the film hit the $250m mark. That storms past the $248m made by Star Wars: The Force Awakens to take the record for highest grossing opening weekend of all time.
