Last night a rumour circulated the web that came as a surprise to Suicide Squad fans. Star Jared Leto has been cast as the lead in Morbius The Living Vampire. If the rumours were to believed the star will take the lead in the Spider-Man spin-off which is due to go in to production later in 2018. Many of the reports have stated this role will NOT impact on his continuing appearances as the Joker in the DC Films universe. Something tells us Warner Bros. knows it’s on to a winner with Wonder Woman 1984. Last night director Patty Jenkins released our first official look at Kristen Wiig on the set of the movie. Although there’s no reveal of her Cheetah appearance we do get a good look at alter ego Barbara Minerva. It looks as though she is on some kind of museum set surrounded by animals. HBO is currently hard at work filming the pilot for its Watchmen adaption. Whilst we know only fragments of what the series will entail one new detail has us intrigued. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Jeremy Irons has joined the pilot in a lead role capacity. Although no details have been revealed about his role on Damon Lindelof’s series, Deadline is reporting he’ll play “an aging and imperious lord of a British manor.” Lindleof has made it clear the series will not be a straight adaption of the Watchmen comic. Controversial designs or not Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is coming. From the first pieces of promo art for this new incarnation of the franchise fans have been at odds. Whilst the characters share more in common with their most recent movie counterparts their theme tune does not. 20th Century Fox has dropped a new trailer for Shane Black’s The Predator. As the films September release date gets ever close the market campaign for the movie is beginning to heat up. Director James Gunn has revealed via Twitter account that the first draft script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is complete.
