We’re reaching that time of year which is make or break for our favourite TV shows. But fans of The CW can rest easy as the network has handed out early renewals to ALL of it’s DC Comics shows. Yes Arrow, The Flash, Black Lightning, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will all be returning with new seasons later in the year. Announcing the news network head Mark Pedowitz commented on the successful 2018/19 season. This season, we expanded our primetime schedule to six nights with the addition of Sunday — which has been an unqualified success for the network, our…

Synopsis With no news on his sister, Brion is growing more and more impatient, but Batman’s on the case. Review I’m beginning to think that Young Justice needs to re-brand itself as DC Universe: The Animated Series. This episode chooses to focus on the adventures of Batman, Katanna and Metamorpho and forego many of the younger characters. Yes it services the overall arc of the season. There’s method in the madness but I can’t help feeling like the show has gotten a little lost in trying to tell a very ambitious story. The young’uns aren’t totally absent from this episode…

Synopsis The Light hires an assassin to take out a member of the team, but who’s the target? Review Despite the fact we are now only four episode away from the end of this first block of episode Young Justice is going oddly of peiste. That or it’s becoming overly convoluted. We’re still circling the metahuman trafficking story which at the centre of this season. But with this episode The Light, the villains who have been omnipresent throughout the show come back to the fore. They have a simple purpose in this episode: one, to bring in Lobo to kill…

So far director Matt Reeves has been pretty cagey about how things are going with The Batman. Until today he’s never really commented to say that’s even the title of the movie. But in a new interview with THR Reeves has opened up about how things are coming with the project. It seems no topic was off the table as he discusses the script, the villains and a possible release window for the movie. “It’s very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale,” Reeves confirmed. “It’s told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it’s going to be a story…

Though we never got to see her in costume in the show, Donna Troy mentioned she was still holding on to that Wonder Girl outfit. Now a new leaked photo shows actress Conor Leslie in the iconic outfit. We’re not sure if this is from a costume test for season 2 or perhaps a leaked look from the final episode of season 1 which was never released. Either way Leslie wears the red version of the Wonder Girl costume rather than the more classic black. The gold stars are, of course, still there though. Will we get to see her…
