After plenty of casting news, HBO programming president, Casey Bloys, has finally announced when the Game of Thrones prequel still begin production. Speaking to EW Bloys said production will film through the summer of 2019. The network is currently targeting a 2020 and possibly 2021 release date for the series. Long-time X-Men movie producer Lauren Schuler Donner has been updating the press on their slate of movies. The producer was on hand at the Television Critics Association press tour panel for FX’s Legion when she was asked about the state of movies such as New Mutants, Gambit and Kitty Pryde.
