This week, DC has revealed its early 2027 lineup of books for younger readers. From laugh-out-loud Early Reader adventures to heartfelt Middle Grade journeys and bold Young Adult graphic novels, these titles offer something for every age, interest, and reading level. Joining the list are several new DC Compact Comics Adventures, expanding DC’s bestselling Compact Comics line by featuring all-ages stories perfect for young readers and beyond!

    DC’s Early Reader Books
    (Ages 5-7)

Supergirl’s Zoo-per Heroes: Scent of Justice
Supergirl, Krypto, and the Zoo-per Sleuths are on the scent!

Not much time has passed since the Zoo-per Heroes successfully escaped the zoo and cranky zookeeper Cass. But they know the clock is ticking on their freedom… and Supergirl is counting on their help to track down the rest of the Justice League’s enchanted laundry!

Krypto has a plan to follow the scent of magic down into the stinky underbelly of Metropolis—where every animal for miles knows the best food can be found! And who knows what secrets and mysteries lurk in the dark, as well?

Writer and artist Rob Justus (Superman’s Good Guy Gang, Death & Sparkles) returns with the fun and funny sequel toSupergirl’s Zoo-per Heroes: Krypto’s Big Break!

Supergirl’s Zoo‑per Heroes: Scent of Justice

    DC’s Middle Grade Books
    (Ages 8–12)

DC’s Middle Grade graphic novels deliver adventure, mystery, and big emotional stakes, giving readers room to explore deeper stories, bigger worlds, and characters growing into their own identities.

    Princesses of the DC Universe
Superheroes meet princesses in DC’s brand-new team-up adventure starring Wonder Girl!

Yara Flor is very unsure about the responsibility of leading a teen girl superhero squad. Wonder Woman encourages her to try—and even brings donuts—but their first meet-up is crashed by Princess Maxima!

Maxima’s life has been nothing but princess studies, princess duties, and princess training. While planning her coming-of-age ceremony, she realizes she’s been so busy she doesn’t have any friends to invite! No matter: by royal decree, Yara Flor, Steel, and Miss Martian legally have to accompany Maxima to her planet! Surely, they’ll become friends during their road trip…through the stars!

But when their ship is stolen, a simple trip turns into an epic adventure! Can they get their ship back, find some socks, help Superman escape a dungeon, rescue an entire planet, and make it back to Maxima’s home world in time for her ceremony?

Teen heroes unite in this new middle-grade graphic novel from the writing team of Tilly & Susan Bridges and artist Alba Glez!

Sinestro is on his way to Earth…and the Justice League isn’t ready.
At least, that’s what Tai Pham believes.

Continuing his training under the watchful eye of Green Lantern John Stewart, Tai knows Xander Griffin was just a distraction from Sinestro’s more nefarious plans. And while the Yellow Lantern leader’s imminent arrival has the Justice League concerned, Tai can’t seem to convince them of just how helpful he could be in stopping Sinestro from taking over Earth—Tai is just a kid, after all. If only he could help prepare for what’s coming!

Can Tai find a way to convince the Justice League he should be an official member of the team? Find out in this thrilling conclusion to the trilogy that started in Green Lantern: Legacy and continued in Green Lantern: Alliance, from the acclaimed team of writer Minh Lê and artist Andie Tong.

    The Manifestations of Bobby Park
A fresh new entry into DC’s lineup, blending manga-inspired visuals with superhero storytelling for young adult readers.

Sixteen-year-old Bobby Park is a devoted son, helping at his immigrant parents’ laundromat business in Central City’s Koreatown. Despite their modest income, Bobby’s genius-level aptitude for science and biology earns him a full scholarship to an elite academy, but after a racially charged attack puts his father in the hospital, his stress and anxiety manifest as painful acne that detracts from all his joy and pride. Frustrated by failed attempts to clear up his skin and tired of dissociating to tolerate his life, he takes matters into his own hands, concocting his own cure using the academy’s state-of-the-art facilities.

The trial serum is an instant success but comes at a great cost. Beyond his newly acne-free face, Bobby sees the reflection, and hears the voice, of an alter ego named Atlas Ahn; a muscled extrovert with catalog-model features—the exact opposite of how Bobby sees himself. And when an attack at the academy leaves Bobby critically wounded, Atlas convinces him to take his hand, which unwittingly unleashes a hulking monster known as Gemini.

Jeremy Holt, writer of Made in Korea, and manga artist Chong Hou introduce a new hero to the DC Universe, who must balance falling grades, a love triangle he never expected, and a neighborhood that needs his help more than ever! Can he juggle it all while getting along with a new reflection that vies for control over his body?
