DC Studios and HBO Max have today debuted a brand new teaser for upcoming original drama series Lanterns. The series will debut in the UK on August 17, 2026 and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
The teaser has also revealed that critically acclaimed actress Laura Linney is joining the cast alongside Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, and Kelly Macdonald.
The series follows new recruit John Stewart (Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.

Lanterns stars Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Laura Linney, Jason Ritter, Ulrich Thomsen, Nathan Fillion, J. Alphonse Nicholson and Jasmine Cephas Jones.
