Sony Pictures has announced that Twinless, James Sweeney’s portrait of two grieving young men who form an unlikely friendship, will come to digital platforms in the UK on April 7, 2026.
Roman (Dylan O’Brien) and Dennis (James Sweeney) are each adrift without the person who defined them, searching for solace and an identity they can call their own. Outside the group, they become inseparable, filling a void neither knew how to name.

But dark pasts have a way of surfacing. As the two grow closer, cracks begin to form, and the foundations of their friendship start to shift beneath them. Secrets emerge, loyalties are tested, and everything the two men thought they knew about each other is thrown into doubt. Nothing, it turns out, is quite what it seemed.
The film is directed by James Sweeney and stars Dylan O’Brien, Lauren Graham, Akira Chantaratananond, James Sweeney and Aisling Franciosi. It’s produced by David Permut and James Sweeney.
Twinless is available to Buy or Rent on Digital from 7th April courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
