From legendary producer/director Sean S. Cunningham, co-creator of the Friday the 13th franchise, comes underwater creature feature, Deepstar Six, releasing on 4K UHD in the UK for the first time on June 8, 2026 courtesy of Studiocanal.
Starring Greg Evigan, Nancy Everhard, Miguel Ferrer and even featuring stunt work by Jason Vohorees himself, Kane Hodder, the film features another memorably eerie score by Harry Manfredini (Friday the 13th), and out of this world creature effects by Chris Walas (Oscar-winner for 1987’s The Fly).
Releasing originally in 1989, the film follows the crew of the titular underwater military outpost, who struggle to defend their base against the attacks of an impossible sea monster.
