Titan Comics has given readers a first look at Rafael Garcia: Henchman, a new action-comedy mini-series which is set to launch in comic book stores next month. Mixing the daily grind of The Office with the slacker absurdity of Stripes, the first of four issues arrives in stores on March 18, 2026.
The series hails from Emmy award winning writer Peter Murreita and filmmaker David Schrader, with art by Ben Herrera. The first issue features cover designs by Kit Wallis, Orlando ‘Mexifunk’ Arocena, and Dan Mendoza. Here’s a first look at each of their designs:
The series’ synopsis reads:
What if life in a super-villain organisation was less like a James Bond movie and more like working at Walmart Corporate?
From Emmy Award-winning writer Peter Murrieta (Mr. Iglesias) and writer/filmmaker David Schrader (Baby Badass). Rafael Garcia: Henchman brings the old familiar tropes of a dark workplace comedy by way of a brand-new cinematic superhero universe.
An action comedy that mixes the daily grind of The Office with the slacker absurdity of Stripes – if the General in charge was more like Lex Luthor.
As well as previewing the cover art, Titan has also shared several lettered interior pages from issue #1 which you can take a sneaky peek at below:
Fans can pick up a copy from their local comic shop and Forbidden Planet for UK & Europe.
