We’re now a little under a month away from the release of Scream 7 and Paramount Pictures is turning up the heat on the film’s promotion. Overnight a brand new featurette has surfaced online spotlight lighting franchise creator Kevin Williamson and his journey to the director’s chair.
Williamson first created the Scream franchise back in the early 1990s working with original director Wes Craven. As well as executive producing all the recent entries in the franchise he now returns as writer and for the first time will direct with next month’s Scream 7. He discusses his journey with the franchise, alongside original star Neve Campbell and other select members of the cast in this brand new video.

Scream 7 releases in UK cinemas on February 27, 2026.
