    SINNERS Breaks Record for Most Nominated Film as 2026 Academy Awards Roster is Unveiled

    The nominations from the 2026 Academy Awards have been announced and writer/director Ryan Coogler has a lot to celebrate today. The critically acclaimed Sinners has become the most nominated film in Oscars history, scooping a huge 16 nominations across this year’s categories.

    The nominations themselves aren’t a huge surprise with Chloe Zhao’s Hamnet, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Guillermo del Torro’s Frankenstein repeatedly picking up nominations.
