Paramount Home Entertainment has this morning announced plans for the home video release of Edgar Wright’s brilliant The Running Man. The film, which debuted in UK cinemas back in November 2025, will release on digital platforms across the UK on January 13, 2026. This will be followed by a 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release on March 2.
The film is a fun, unhinged deadly game show where contestants must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward. Working class Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is coerced into the competition by the show’s ruthless producer (Josh Brolin). Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into a fan favorite—and a threat to the entire system.

In our four-star review of the film Neil said “The Running Man is a razor-sharp, visually stunning adaptation that pairs Stephen King’s social insight with Edgar Wright’s kinetic energy. It trades relentless violence for emotional truth — and comes out a winner.”
