On September 20, fans around the world will gather for Batman Day 2025, celebrating their love of DC’s Caped Crusader, Batman. Notable not for having any superpowers but for his intelligence, skill, and technical savvy, Batman is one of the most iconic characters in the world and is recognized across the globe thanks to his portrayal in universally beloved comics, TV shows, cartoons, movies, and more since he first appeared in 1939’s Detective Comics #27. Batman’s story of determination and grit has inspired generation after generation.

To commemorate this annual tradition and to celebrate one of the most enduring characters in popular culture, DC and Warner Bros. Discovery have prepared an incredible choice of content and activities to make Batman Day 2025 a memorable and fun experience for fans.

    Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

On Saturday, September 20, fans can celebrate Batman Day with a one-day immersive experience featuring a Batman-themed studio tour across the iconic Warner Bros. backlot. Bring your friends and family for a night of fun and memorable moments, as you go behind the scenes of your favorite Batman films and see original costumes, cowls, and Batmobiles from the Warner Bros. Discovery Global Archives & Preservation Services.

Highlights on the Batman-themed tour include DC trivia, photo ops, rare props and costumes from the archives, and a complimentary copy of Batman & Robin Year One #1 from the acclaimed comic book team of Mark Waid and Chris Samnee (while supplies last).

The event concludes with a special screening of Batman Forever in a studio setting with an introduction by producer Michael Uslan. For more details on Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, visit the website at https://www.wbstudiotour.com/.

Batman Comic Books, DCUI, DC Shop, and More

At participating comic book shops while supplies last, Batman fans visiting their local comic book shop can choose from a selection of Batman titles celebrating Gotham’s Caped Crusader and some of his most infamous adversaries. Multiple new printings of Absolute Batman #1 will be available for fans on Batman Day, including an Absolute Batman #1 blank sketch cover, a foil variant cover, and the oversized (11×17) black and white reproduction of Nick Dragotta’s original art in DC W.I.P.: Absolute Batman #1.

Batman Day editions of Batman & Robin Year One #1 (Mark Waid and Chris Samnee) and Batman: Year Two #1 (Mike Barr and Alan Davis) will be available, and DC will publish a facsimile edition of 1940’s Batman #1 by Bill Finger, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson—available with its original cover, a blank sketch cover, and as a foil variant cover.

DC UNIVERSE INFINITE (DCUI) is celebrating Batman Day by offering a curated collection of Batman-centric content FREE to read, in front of the paywall. For more information visit the DCUI website at https://www.dcuniverseinfinite.com. DCUI is not available in all countries and is not intended for children.

All September-long, Warner Bros. Discovery’s DC Shop will be dropping new Batman product inspired by Batman through the eras in celebration of Batman Day.

LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight

LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight, the upcoming action-adventure videogame recently announced by Warner Bros. Games, will offer players the opportunity to unlock the Golden Age Batsuit at launch. This classic outfit based on the Caped Crusader’s debut look from Detective Comics #27 (1939) will be accessible for eligible users who create a WB Games account, as well as those who already have an account.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight invites players to embark on an epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City from origin to legend, inspired by the 86-year history of Batman films, television shows, comics, and games, all combined with the TT Games’ unique LEGO humor. The game is set to release in 2026 for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Look for more news on the game in the coming weeks!

    BAT-FAM

Also this month, look out for some fun updates for Warner Bros. Animation’s highly anticipated BAT-FAM animated series premiering later this fall on Prime Video. The series follows the events of the hit MERRY LITTLE BATMAN film, focusing on Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne—who has now taken on the mantle of Little Batman—alongside a few newcomers to Wayne Manor, as they navigate the fun and frustrations of life as a super family. The series premieres later this year, but fans can watch MERRY LITTLE BATMAN now on Prime Video.
