Over the weekend Sony Pictures continued its early promotion of Spider-Man: Brand New Day with a new featurette from the set. This new video teases the first official day of shooting on Tom Holland’s fourth solo-outing as the Wallcrawler. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is due to release in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
The featurette expands on plenty of set photos which have been seen in the press over the last week. It highlights a huge action sequence as Spider-Man rides a huge tank whilst it barrels down the streets of Glasgow. The Scottish city is, of course, doubles as New York as Marvel Studios continues its commitment to filming here in the UK.

Cretton directs Spider-Man: Brand New Day from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Tom Holland leads a cast that also includes Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, and Liza Colón-Zayas.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be release in UK cinemas on July 31, 2026.
