Grab onto your strawhats and prepare to set sail!! Netflix’s One Piece will be sailing onto our screens for its highly anticipated second season sometime in 2026. This second season will also be sporting a brand new title One Piece: Into The Grand Line. To celebrate One Pieces‘s return, Netflix have released a brand new sizzle which contains lots of new footage and teases. If you thought season one was crazy, then you better buckle up.
The trailer gave us a fantastic look at some key moments from the anime and manga. So let’s breakdown some of the most important things we spotted in the new:
- We got our first look at the friendly giant Brogy (Brendan Murray), who partakes in a 100 year battle on Little Garden against his old friend Dorry. It’s one of my favourite arcs.
- Miss Wednesday, also known as Neferari Vivi- the princess of Alabasta
- Nico Robin (Miss Sunday) using her Hana Hana no Mi devil fruit. Before she joins Luffy and the gang, she’s a member of the Baroque Works Organisation led by the villainous Crocodile (Joe Manganiello).
- The giant Island Whale Laboon appears in the final few shots of the trailer.
- Marine Captain Smoker makes his debut after being teased in season one. Wielding the power of the Moku Moku no Mi devil fruit, Smoker becomes obsessed with finding Luffy and quickly becomes a major adversary.
- Loguetown- The place of Gol D, Roger’s birth and Execution. Luffy is actually seen looking up at the scaffold of Roger’s execution.
- No Chopper this time.
