BOOM! Studios has revealed our first look at the latest issue of New York Times bestselling and Eisner Award-winning writer and artist Jeff Lemire’s Minor Arcana. Created along with artist Letizia Cadonici, colourist Patricio Delpeche, and letterer Steve Wand, this next instalment in the ongoing series about community, grief, and the power of human connection is coming to comic shops in July 2025.
Theresa deals with a surprising influx of customers as word of her gift spreads through the town. An unexpected visit catches her off guard. Meanwhile, Kelly continues her search for her lost brother.
The latest issue continues “Wheel of Fortune”, the final mini-arc of the first of the four major story arcs of the ongoing series from Jeff Lemire and BOOM! Studios. Mirroring the suits of a tarot deck, the story arcs will be collected into The Book of Wands, The Book of Swords, The Book of Cups, and The Book of Pentacles respectively.
MINOR ARCANA #9 features main cover art by series creator Jeff Lemire, and variant covers by highly acclaimed illustrators Paulina Ganucheau (Zodiac Starforce), Tula Lotay (Briar), and Malachi Ward (Prophet). Additionally, each issue continues to feature a special tarot card variant cover illustrated by Jeff Lemire culminating in a full tarot deck at the end of the series. Minor Arcana #9 will be available in comic shops July 23, 2025. It is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.
