Take this one with a grain of salt Super Friends. But the runtime for James Gunn’s Superman has reportedly been revealed as distributors prepare for tickets to go on sale. The film, the first in DC Studios ambitious DCU project, releases in UK cinemas on July 11, 2025.
According to @DCFilmsNew on social media the film will clock in with a runtime of 122 minutes. That’s 2 hours and 2 minutes in total. The account reports that international distributors have received the updated runtime for DC Studios as the film heads towards tickets going on sale. That runtime makes the film shorts than 2006’s Superman Returns which clocked in at 154 minutes and is the exact same runtimes as Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1.
