After revealing yesterday that a full trailer was on the way, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios has debuted new poster artwork for James Gunn’s Superman. A short new video has also been released online teasing tomorrow’s trailer for the July 11 release.
There’s a couple of familiar shots in this teaser. But we also get new looks at Lex Luthor and Superman in action. There’s also at explosive look at a fight sequence between the Man of Steel and the character known as the Hammer of Boravia. A character whose appearance here certainly lends weight to fan theories…
Take a look at the teaser for the trailer in the tweet below:
Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.
Today has also seen the release of a brand new poster for the film. One which reflects the striking image of Christopher Reeve used to promote 1978’s original Superman film. Both posters feature the Man of Steel stood cross-armed in front of a sunny backdrop. The image of David Corenswet certainly reinforces the film’s message of hope for the Man of Tomorrow.
The film stars David Corenswet(Twisters) in the dual role of Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan(The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult (Nosferatu) as Lex Luthor. The film also stars Edi Gathegi (For All Mankind), Anthony Carrigan (Gotham), Nathan Fillion (The Suicide Squad), Isabela Merced (Alien Romulus), Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza), Sara Sampaio (At Midnight), María Gabriela de Faría (The Moodys), Wendell Pierce (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Alan Tudyk (Andor), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Bird Box) and Neva Howell (Greedy People).
Superman is due to hit cinemas on July 11, 2025 from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures. For more head to our dedicated hub for all things Superman ’25.
