After a hugely successful $178M haul at the global box office, Universal Pictures has now announced when film fans will be able to bring home Robert Eggers’ brilliant Nosferatu on home video. The film, which is already available on digital platforms, will hit 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD in the UK on April 7, 2025.
The film, a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake, has gone on to be nominated for 5 BAFTA© awards and four Academy Awards.
Nosferatu stars Bill Skarsgård (It franchise, Barbarian), Lily-Rose Depp (“The Idol”, The King), Nicholas Hoult (Renfield, The Menu), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals, Bullet Train), Emma Corrin (Deadpool & Wolverine, “The Crown”), and Willem Dafoe (The Northman, The Lighthouse).
The home video release arrives in stores with an extended cut never-before-seen in cinemas, bonus content including deleted and behind-the-scenes footage as well as Robert Eggers’ exclusive director’s commentary.
