Prime Video’s has today announced a host of new names joining brilliant fantasy series The Wheel of Time for season 3. The series returns to our screens with brand new episodes on March 13, 2025.
Joining the cast this season are Isabella Bucceri, Nukâka Coster-Waldau, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir, Björn Landberg, Synnøve Macody Lund, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Olivia Williams, Luke Fetherston, Callum Kerr, and Nuno Lopes.
Isabella Bucceri (Finally Me, Everything in Between) plays ‘Faile Bashere,’ a Saldaean ‘Hunter of the Horn,’ whose efforts to locate a treasured relic have led her to The Two Rivers.
Nukâka Coster-Waldau (Thin Ice, Anori) portrays eldest Wise One, ‘Bair,’ the most respected member of the Taardad Aiel. Her authority and wisdom are held in higher regard even than that of the Clan Chief. Along with being able to channel the One Power, she has access to an even more mystical ability.
Salóme Gunnarsdottir (The Lazarus Project, Justice League) plays ‘Melaine,’ a Wise One of the Taardad Aiel. Despite not being able to channel, she is able to access a more mystical power.
Björn Landberg (German series Galileo Mystery, Unter uns) is ‘Rhuarc,’ the well-respected Clan Chief of the Taardad Aiel. Having passed the trial of Rhuidean to become Chief, he is one of the few Aiel who knows what lies within the fog, though he is forbidden to speak of it.
Synnøve Madocy Lund (Ragnarok, Saw X) plays ‘Melhindra,’ a Malkieri survivor who was taken in and raised by the Taardad Aiel.
Shohreh Aghdashloo (The Chess Game of the Wind, House of Sand and Fog) plays ‘Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan,’ Elaida is a ruthlessly powerful Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, as proficient in politicking as she is in channelling.
Olivia Wiliams (The Sixth Sense, Rushmore, The Crown) is ‘Morgase Trakand,’ the Queen of Andor. Morgase did not inherit her throne. Rather, when the succession was left without an heir, she waged a brutal war against a half-dozen noble rivals, and thanks to her political savvy and utter ruthlessness, she won. She has sworn ever since to shield her daughter and heir, Elayne, from ever having to endure what she did… and do what she did. But far from being a tyrant, Morgase has become one of the best queens Andor has ever known.
Luke Fetherston (Doctor Who, Big Mood) is ‘Lord Gawyn’ of House Trakand. A royal prince of Andor and brother to Galad and Elayne, Gawyn is a skilled fighter, famously handsome, and protective of his younger sister.
Callum Kerr (Hollyoaks, Monarch) plays ‘Lord Galad’ of House Trakand. Galad is a royal prince of Andor, and older brother to Gawyn and Elayne. Despite being the first born, he is not the heir to the throne. Andor is a matriarchy, and so the role of heir falls to his younger sister, Elayne.
Nuno Lopes (White Lines, The New Look) plays the role of ‘Lord Gaebril,’ Queen Morgase’s male consort. Both her lover and adviser, he assists in overseeing matters political and military. Andor is a matriarchal society, and so his power and influence, though vast, are always second to that of his Queen, to whom his loyalties and services are sworn.

The threats against the Light are multiplying: The White Tower stands divided, the Black Ajah run free, old enemies return to the Two Rivers, and the remaining Forsaken are in hot pursuit of the Dragon … including Lanfear (Natasha O’Keeffe), whose relationship with Rand will mark a crucial choice between Light and Dark for them both. The Wheel of Time stars Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, I Care a Lot) as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney (Criminal Minds) as Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski (Gran Turismo) as Rand al’Thor, Zoë Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) as Egwene al’Vere, Marcus Rutherford (Obey) as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn (Rogue Heroes) as Mat Cauthon, and Ceara Coveney (Young Wallander) as Elayne Trakand.
