It has been quite the day hasn’t it? Following on from the internet breaking first trailer for James Gunn’s Superman we’re feeling like we need a moment of peace. Clearly we weren’t the only ones… ready to help fans unwind after all the excitement, WaterTower Music has officially released John Murphy’s incredible trailer soundtrack on digital platforms.
By now you’ll have realised that Murphy has updated the classic Superman ‘78 theme, originally composed by John Williams. Murphy, a regular collaborator of director James Gunn, has put his own spin on the legendary theme, updating it for a brand new Man of Steel.

Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. The film also stars Edi Gathegi (For All Mankind), Anthony Carrigan (Gotham), Nathan Fillion (The Suicide Squad), Isabela Merced (Alien Romulus), Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza), Sara Sampaio (At Midnight), María Gabriela de Faría (The Moodys), Wendell Pierce (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Alan Tudyk (Andor), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Bird Box) and Neva Howell (Greedy People).
