It wasn’t just Captain America who took the spotlight during Marvel Studios’ presentation at D23 Brazil over the weekend. No sir. Studio president Kevin Feige was also on hand to spread some love for the upcoming Thunderbolts* with a very revealing “Special Look”. The film, directed by Jake Schreier, is currently slated to hit UK cinemas in May 2025.
The new trailer opens with an extended look at scene from the film as Bucky (Sebastian Stan) catches up with the rest of the team. But from there the near four-minute trailer is packed with brand new footage. We finally learn that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Louis-Dreyfus) is the one to have bought Avengers Tower. We also get some strong hints to the * in the title of the movie. That’s all before the introduction of Bob (Lewis Pullman), aka none other than the MCU’s version of Sentry.

There’s so much to dig in to with this latest trailer. For a spotlight on each of the characters to the reveal of Avengers Tower’s new owner. It’s clear that Thunderbolts* will be a huge vehicle for Florence Pugh but there’s no denying how well this cast works together and how well the tone of the movie plays.
